Job Description:
Responsibilities: -
· Maintain and balance general ledger accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, reconciling transactions, resolving discrepancies.
· Provide as needed financial information by preparing special reports and completing special projects.
· Prepare monthly financial statements.
· Maintain accounting controls by following policies and procedures, complying with federal, state, and local financial reporting requirements.
· Maintain financial security by following internal controls.
· Process all billings to residents, produce monthly statements, post payments and overall be in charge of all receivable processes and balances
· Prepare payments by verifying documentation and processing vendor payments bi-weekly.
· Review bank account balances and reconcile bank statements.
· Processing new employees in our payroll system.
· Completing payroll every 2 weeks and working with our payroll provider on any issues.
· Enroll and update employees on health, dental, vison and 401K programs. Work with companies to verify enrollment and billing.
· Reconcile year end reports, such as 1099s, W-2s, 401k and ACA reporting.
Experience and Skill Requirements:
· Detail oriented and strong organizational skills.
· Proven bookkeeping experience with a solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles.
· Proficient in the use of accounting software.
· Experience with account reconciliation and analysis.
· Familiarity with accounts payable processes.
· Team player attitude.
